Islamabad: With the arrival of the new Chief Justice of Pakistan, the Supreme Judicial Council became active and Former Chiefs Justice Umar Atta Bandyal, Saqib Nisar and Supreme Court Judges Justice Ejazul Ahsan and Justice Ayesha Malik dismissed the complaints of misconduct as baseless.
The Supreme Judicial Council has issued a decision on the complaints filed against former Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial and Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Saqib Nisar and Justice Ayesha Malik.
Justice Sardar Tariq Masood dismissed the complaints of misconduct against two judges as baseless. Complaints of misconduct were filed against former Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial, Justice Ijazul Hassan.
According to sources, complaints against both judges were filed by ordinary citizens. Justice Sardar Masood gave legal opinion on both complaints.

On the other hand, the complaint received by the Judicial Commission against former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar and Supreme Court judge Justice Ayesha Malik was dismissed.
According to the sources, the Judicial Commission declared that the complaint against Justice Ayesha Malik is not a case of misconduct in the view of the plaintiff. The complaint against former Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar was also dismissed as baseless.
A citizen complained about a decision of Lahore High Court Judge Ayesha Malik, Justice Sardar Tariq Masood sent his opinion regarding the complaint.
It should be noted that earlier this year, the National Assembly also decided to file a reference against the Chief Justice on the charge of misconduct.
People’s Party female member of assembly Shazia Soobia Soomro moved a motion to set up a special committee to bring a reference against the Chief Justice, which was approved by majority vote.
