Islamabad: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has approved an increase in the price of electricity by Rs 3.28 paisa, which will be implemented after the notification issued by the federal government.
According to the details, Nepra gave a shock to the electricity consumers and approved to increase the price of electricity by Rs.
NEPRA has also issued a notification for the increase in electricity, the increase will be implemented after the approval of the federal government.
According to the notification, the increase was made for the fourth quarter adjustment of the financial year 2022-2023. According to which the consumers will have to make additional payments in six months and the consumers will have to bear an additional burden of 159 billion.
The quarterly adjustment will also apply to K Electric customers and payments will be made from October 2023 to March 2024.
