Attendance of the Syndicate meeting of the Chief Justice;  Decision to restore student union in Quaid-e-Azam University

Islamabad: Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa participated in the Syndicate meeting of Quaid-e-Azam University as a debating member, after which the Jamia Syndicate decided to restore the student union in the university.

Chief Justice Qazi Faizisa attended the meeting presided over by Vice Chancellor Professor Niaz and the Chief Justice expressed his displeasure over the presence of armed police, rangers and security in the Jamia.

Apart from this, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Education Secretary Waseem Ajmal to decide the rules for the student union. On this occasion, Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa said that the student union should be non-partisan, free from communalism, linguistic division and keep the university free from arms and drugs.

Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa said that in the first law of Quaid-e-Azam University, the union was there, do not allow anyone to interfere in the university affairs, keep the agencies away from the university affairs.

Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa said that attention should be given to higher education in Jamia. It should be noted that the last time Chief Justice Bhagwan Das visited Quaid-e-Azam University and participated in the meeting. Former Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial once participated in an online meeting.
