The Lahore High Court upheld the dismissal of Advocate General Punjab Ahmed Owais.

A larger bench headed by Justice Ali Baqer Najafi of Lahore High Court heard the petitions filed against the dismissal of 97 law officers including Advocate General Punjab Ahmed Owais.

The court upheld the dismissal of Advocate General Punjab Ahmed Owais and 97 law officers. The spare member of the five-member bench, Justice Asim Hafeez, disagreed with the decision of four judges, while four judges partially approved the petitions.

The court reserved its decision after hearing the arguments of the parties.
