Supreme Court's order to investigate recruitments in Sindh Education Department

The Supreme Court has ordered the Chief Secretary Sindh to form an inquiry committee on the issue of 56 recruitments in the Sindh Education Department and to check the qualifications of the candidates.

In the matter of recruitment in Sindh Education Department, Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar of the Supreme Court has issued a five-page written decision in which it has been said that the Chief Secretary Sindh should form an inquiry committee within ten days, the committee will include Additional Secretary Education, Deputy Secretary Law should also be included.

The Supreme Court has said that the inquiry committee should issue notices to the 56 applicants, examine the process of appointment of these applicants and give them an opportunity for personal hearing. Issue letters to those who have.

In the written decision, the Supreme Court has said that action should be taken against those who were recruited fraudulently, the inquiry committee should complete the inquiry within 90 days, the committee should decide the salaries of the employees who have been recruited and worked, and illegal recruitment should be done. Action should also be taken against those.

The Supreme Court has held that the beneficiaries of employment are not solely responsible, the petitioners should be given the right to a fair trial under Article 10A.
