Allah Vasai, who opened her eyes on September 21, 1923 in Baba Balhe Shah’s Nagri Kasur, grew up to be known as Noor Jahan.
Noor Jahan entered the world of singing and acting at a young age with an evergreen voice and made more than 20 thousand songs in different languages memorable with her voice in a career of 74 years.
While he sang innumerable popular songs, he also showed the essence of acting in about 40 films.
While the great artist and singer made the name of Pakistan shine all over the world with her songs, she warmed the blood of the people and the army men with her war songs.
Queen Tarnam Noor Jahan was honored with many domestic and foreign awards including Tagha Imtiaz and Satara Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan in recognition of her artistic services.
