Safe City Project;  Launch of e-challan in other cities including Lahore after a year of hiatus

Lahore: In Punjab, e-challaning was stopped in other cities including Lahore due to system failure, now e-challaning has been started in Safe Cities after a year of interruption.

In this regard, according to MD Safe Cities, the work of repairing and restoring cameras on various highways of the city is going on, while the staff has also started working and the delivery of e-challan will also be started from Monday.

He said that more than 1000 cameras have been installed on the main roads of the city and all the e-challaning cameras will be activated during the next month.

It should be noted that five years ago e-challaning was started in Safe Cities for violating traffic rules and 10 to 15 thousand e-challans were being issued daily.
