Islamabad: There was an uproar in the Senate on the Supreme Court’s remark that only one Prime Minister of the country had been declared honest.

Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani presided over the meeting of Senate. Government and PTI members came face to face.

There was an uproar in the House over the letter written by the Attorney General to the Law Minister on the Supreme Court’s remark that only one Prime Minister of the country is honest.

Senator Raza Rabbani protested in the House on the Attorney General’s letter. Federal Law Minister Nazir Tarar explained that the Attorney General explained because he had said that I was present in the Supreme Court, the Chief Justice did not give the remarks of a Prime Minister being honest, the Chief Justice’s remarks were social. It was presented out of context in the media.

Raza Rabbani said that if the Attorney General is so supportive of the Parliament and the Judiciary, then when the Parliament is attacked by the court, the Attorney General should defend the Parliament in the court. A letter should be written to the Attorney General on this matter.
