Karachi: Industrialists rejected Sui Southern Gas Company’s claim that 90 percent of gas theft is done by Karachi’s industrial consumers.
Sui Southern Gas Company had claimed that during 15 months in Sindh, including Karachi, industries stole 5.5 billion worth of gas, while 1366 million cubic feet of gas was recovered from industrialists in 2015 and the highest gas theft of 4.5 billion was from Karachi. Caught.
In this regard, the industrial circles have rejected the claim of the gas company and indicated to take up the matter before the provincial government. Industrial circles say that heavy pressure lines in industrial connections cannot be twisted without the connivance of Sui Southern Gas Company staff.
He said that the staff and officers of Sui Gas themselves are involved in the theft of gas from high pressure lines, while if the accusation against the industrial consumers is not withdrawn, they will take legal action against the company.
