Karachi: The weather became pleasant due to drizzle and light rain in different areas of Shahr Quaid.
On Wednesday morning, after heavy rains, clouds suddenly covered various parts of the city while there was drizzle at some places. Later, light rain started in many areas with strong winds. The weather became pleasant as the heat caused by the intense heat subsided and the citizens breathed a sigh of relief.
In the city, Korangi, Hawke’s Bay, Maripur, Sarjani, Sher Shah, Kemari, Malir, North Karachi, Shahrah Faisal, Sadar and II Chandrigar Road areas have continued to experience heavy rain since afternoon.
Earlier, the Meteorological Department had predicted rain with gale, strong winds and thundershowers in Karachi on Wednesday. Experts said that Karachi is expected to remain cloudy today.
On the other hand, Electric has asked the citizens to follow precautionary measures during rain and strong winds. According to the spokesman, citizens should be careful in using electrical appliances during rainy season.
