Ankara: A famous Turkish actress committed suicide by shooting herself in the head.
According to Turkish media reports, 36-year-old actor Murphy Kayalp ended his life by shooting himself in the head with his father’s licensed pistol. The actress was at her residence in Dalaman area of Mugla province.
Reports further state that the actress’ neighbors informed the police after hearing the gunshots. When police arrived at the scene, they found actress Murphy Kealup dead. The body was shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
Turkey’s showbiz community has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden death of Murphy Kayalp. Murphy’s TV series credits include “The Warrior,” “Matter of Honor,” “Sakaria Firat,” “The Little Day,” “Dreams and Hopes” and “Elf.”
