Peshawar: Criticizing the judge’s decision, the DSP sought an unconditional apology from the court.
A contempt petition was heard in the Peshawar High Court against the DSP who criticized the decision of the District and Sessions Judge on the social media platform, in which Advocate General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa told the court that D SP has apologized unconditionally.
The Advocate General told the court that the DSP has left himself at the mercy of the court. The DSP who criticized the judge’s decision has also been departmentally charge-sheeted.
A bench comprising Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Mohammad Ibrahim Khan heard the case. The Chief Justice directed that the DSP, Additional District and Sessions Judge, Dera Ismail Khan apologize. If he apologizes to the Additional Sessions Judge for his action, then he will be discharged from the case.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing till September 25.
