Islamabad: The number of registered voters in the country exceeded 12 crore, 69 lakh 80 thousand.

The Election Commission has released the comparative data of male and female voters from 2018 to 2023, according to which the number of male voters in 2023 has increased by 10 million, while the number of female voters has increased by about 9 million.

The number of voters aged 18 to 35 in the country is 57 lakh 95 thousand 197. In 2018, the number of registered 5 crore, 92 lakh 24 thousand 839 male voters has increased to 6 crore 85 lakh 8 thousand 258, while the number of female voters has increased from 4 crore 67 lakh 30 thousand 570 to 5 crore 84 lakh 72 thousand 14.

The number of male voters in Punjab was 3 crore 36 lakh 80 thousand 397, which has now become 3 crore 87 lakh 20 thousand 67, while the number of female voters has increased from 2 crore 69 lakh 92 thousand 374 to 3 crore 35 lakh 90 thousand 515.

The number of male voters in Sindh was 1 crore 24 lakh 36 thousand 924 and the number of female voters was 99 lakh 54 thousand 320. In 2023, the number of male voters will be 1 crore 44 lakh 44 thousand 722 and the number of female voters will be 1 crore 22 lakh 8 thousand 439.

In Balochistan, the number of male voters increased from 24 lakh 86 thousand 253 to 29 lakh 67 thousand 790 and the number of female voters increased from 18 lakh 13 thousand 241 to 23 lakh 16 thousand 804 voters.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the number of male voters has increased from 87 lakh 4 thousand 628 to 1 crore 18 lakh 30 thousand 683, while the number of female voters has increased from 66 lakh 9 thousand 541 to 98 lakh 61 thousand 698.

Similarly, the number of male voters in Islamabad was 4 lakh 7 thousand 496 and the number of female voters was 3 lakh 57 thousand 951 which is 5 lakh 46 thousand 996 and 4 lakh 94 thousand 558 in 2023.

The number of voters aged 36 to 45 years in the country is 2 crore 77 lakh 94 thousand 708, while the number of voters aged 46 to 55 years is 1 crore 81 lakh 24 thousand 28. The number of voters between 56 and 65 years is 1 crore 18 lakh 89 thousand 259 while the number of voters above 66 years is 1 crore 20 lakh 77 thousand 88.
