Deputy Commissioner Lahore Rafia Haider has issued instructions to WASA officials for drainage, while MD WASA Ghafran Ahmed has instructed all operation staff to stay in the field.

MD Vasa also visited Gulberg Underpass. Directed to make immediate arrangements for drainage from all underpasses including Gulberg.

According to the Meteorological Department, this series of monsoon rains will continue till September 20.
