Court orders release of Haleem Adil Shaikh granted bail in May 9 case

Karachi: On May 9, the Special Anti-Terrorism Court granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Haleem Adil Sheikh and Raja Azhar, who were arrested in cases of arson and arson.

The court ordered the two accused to submit a bond of one lakh rupees and said that both should be released from jail if they are not wanted by the police in any other case.

On May 9, the Special Anti-Terrorism Court heard the bail application filed by PTI leaders Haleem Adil Sheikh and Raja Azhar, who were arrested in the cases of arson and arson.

Lawyer Safai submitted that both the prosecution and the investigating officer failed to prove the charges against the leaders. The police themselves say that hundreds of people were protesting, the job of the police was to find and arrest the people involved in the arson and encirclement.

Most of the activists arrested in the cases registered in Tipu Sultan police station and other police stations have also been granted bail. Both leaders have been members of the provincial assembly and are law-abiding citizens.
