Woman Mysteriously Loses Her Hands and Feet After Eating Fish

California: In the US state of California, a woman cooked fish and ate it, after which the claws of her hands and feet stopped working.

According to the American newspaper, 40-year-old Laura Brajas is fond of eating fish and today she bought fresh fish called tilapia from the market and grilled it.

However, after some time the woman’s condition changed and her hands and feet became paralyzed and her claws stopped working. The family rushed the woman to the hospital where she had to undergo surgery.

Doctors amputated the woman’s hands and feet in surgery to save her life so that the poison would not spread further.

Doctors say that the woman had not washed the fish well, the poisonous bacteria in the fish was ‘Vibrio vulnificus’. This bacteria is found in sea water and seafood.
