Pedestrian killed in gunfight between Gutka mafia in Karachi

Karachi: Among the Gutka mafia in Baldia town A young passer-by was killed by firing during the dispute.

According to Express News, a person was killed in firing near Tofan Cold Drink Shop, Baldia No. 5, Baldia Town area. The body of the deceased was shifted to Civil Hospital by Edhi Ambulance. According to the spokesperson of Karachi Police, the victim was identified as 23-year-old Shahrukh son of Abdul Qadeer.

SHO Municipality Faisal Rafiq says that the shooting happened during a dispute between two groups of Kathiawadi community, a passer-by was killed by a bullet during the shooting, the police is conducting raids to arrest the accused.

Regarding the deceased youth, it has been learned that 23-year-old Shahrukh son of Abdul Qadeer was going to get married after two months, the deceased was the eldest of two sisters and two brothers and worked in a stock exchange, the deceased’s father Zari. work and had gone to Lahore for work.

Residents of the area described Shahrukh as very polite and prayed five times a day and said that Shahrukh did not sit anywhere and did not go anywhere, he only went to work and mosque. At the time of the incident, Shahrukh was invited by a friend. When he came back from the street, he stopped at the corner of the street and the firing started. On hearing the sound, Shahrukh took the motorcycle without starting it and ran towards the house on foot. He came under the fire.

According to the residents, two persons on a bike took him to the hospital where doctors confirmed his death.

SHO Baldia Town Faisal Rafiq said that people of Kathiawar community live in the area and they have made the area an industry of Gutka Mawa. Individuals run a Gutka Mawa factory, Ashraf Sindh belongs to Lyari who has a lot of influence, he had invited some boys from Lyari two days ago.

According to the SHO, there was a clash between the two groups on Saturday as well, in which each other was stabbed and injured. On Sunday night, the boys called by Ashraf from Lyari to spread their terror in the area. Indiscriminate firing in the area of ​​the opposing group resulted in the death of a young boy, Shah Rukh.

The SHO said that 6 people, including the main suspects involved in the firing, Akbar Sindh and Ashraf Sindh, have been detained.
