Lahore: High Court issued bailable arrest warrant of Chief Commissioner Islamabad and non-bailable arrest warrant of IG Islamabad to Parvez Elahi despite court order.
Justice Mirza Waqas Rauf remarked that IG Islamabad did not appear before the court despite the bailable warrant being issued. The court issued contempt of court notice to the concerned SP for not executing the bailable arrest warrant.
DPO Attock and CPO Rawalpindi appeared before the court. The court remarked that you have left all your work and come here for the second time, don’t forget you all have careers.
The court expressed its displeasure at the non-appearance of Superintendent Jail Attock. The court also issued a bailable arrest warrant for the Superintendent Jail Attock.
DPO Attock submitted a reply to the show cause notice, on which the court withdrew the show cause notice issued against DPO Attock and CPO Rawalpindi.
