Mumbai: Famous Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar revealed the real reason behind leaving the social networking platform Twitter.
Karan Johar had announced his retirement from Twitter in October last year and initially said that the reason for leaving was to seek positive energy.
In a recent interview, the filmmaker revealed that the real reason he quit Twitter (X) was that the hateful and abusive messages were targeting his children Yash and Rohi.
He said that if people targeted him or his mother, there was no problem, but the wave of hatred reaching his five-year-old children was unbearable.
Karan Johar clarified that he will never personally return to the platform, that he values Twitter and that his company’s account is also on it.
He said that he does not want to read anything hateful about his children and it breaks his heart.
