Lahore: CTO Lahore ordered to stop the entry of motorcyclists without helmets on model roads including Canal Road, Mall Road, Jail Road.
Mustansar Feroze visited various highways to review the helmet enforcement campaign and said that action was taken against more than 1,000 government employees under the campaign. .
He said that challaning is not the intention, the protection of citizens is the first priority, helmets are being challaned for hanging on the arm or keeping them on tanks, citizens should ensure the use of helmets to protect themselves and their loved ones.
Mustansar Feroze said that in two and a half months, there was a crackdown against 876,000 motorcyclists, during this year action was taken against 17,90,000 motorcycle riders without helmets and over 100,000 motorcycles were stopped in different sectors.
