Karachi: Two people, including a teenage boy, died in incidents of electrocution in different areas of the city.
According to details, a teenage boy was electrocuted in a house near Baldia Town Lucky Society Bridge, who was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital by Edhi’s volunteers, where doctors confirmed his death after examination.
According to rescue officials, the deceased was identified as 13-year-old Ehsanullah, while the incident is said to have been electrocuted by an electric wire in the house. Meanwhile, one person died due to electrocution in the building under construction near Karachi Press Club.
Rescue officials say that the deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Saifullah, who is said to be a laborer, while the incident took place during work.
