Apple said in this regard that the new update will only apply to users in France, where a specific testing protocol is in place. Apple also clarified that the radiation is a result of the testing system and is not a health concern.
The French minister added that the regulator will test new updates made in compliance with the order before allowing the iPhone 12 to be resold in the country.
It should be noted that the planned update raises concerns about Apple’s iPhone 12, which is still in use in other countries.
