London: A British father has set a Guinness World Record by having his daughter’s name tattooed 667 times on his body.
According to media reports, 49-year-old Mark Owen Evans actually held the record for the most tattoos of the same name on his body in 2017 when he inked his daughter Lucy’s name 267 times on his back.
However, Evans lost this record in 2020 when Deidra Weigel, an American citizen, got her name tattooed 300 times on her body. Seeing this, Evans regained the world record title by inking 400 more Lucy name tattoos.
“I couldn’t wait to get the record back and name it after my daughter,” Evans told Guinness World Records. He said he initially set the record to celebrate the birth of his daughter and raise money for the hospital that cared for her in the first few months of her life.
