A war of words broke out between renowned Indian filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri and legendary actor Naseeruddin Shah after criticizing the film ‘Ghadar 2’.
Naseeruddin Shah had said in his statement a few days ago that the success of films like ‘Ghadr 2’ and ‘Kashmir Files’ is disturbing.
He also said that the popularity of films has become dependent on fanaticism which is harmful.
On this statement of Naseeruddin Shah, Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri said that Naseeruddin Shah is a very good actor, that’s why I cast him in my film ‘Tashkend Files’.
He criticized the famous actor and said that nothing should be said about Naseeruddin Shah’s recent comments. I feel that because of the film Kashmir Files, the personality of Naseeruddin Shah is being exposed.
It should be noted that mostly spy and patriotism films have been successful in India, while Bollywood films have flopped in front of South Indian films.
