Why are funds for investigation not given directly to the police station instead of being given to each district? If you give money to the police station for investigation, they will also be held accountable.
Justice Amjad Ali Sohto said in a dialogue with IG Sindh that the people of Sindh have eyes on him.
IG Sindh said that after two to four months things will be seen changing in Sindh. A monitoring mechanism has been made in the police. I will monitor myself in the entire province. I will also monitor the funds myself.
Justice Amjad Ali Sathu inquired that in this case we asked the investigating officer why the accused was arrested? So the officer replied that his elder brother used to commit robberies, so he was also arrested.
Justice Amjad Ali Sathu remarked that there has been a lot of destruction in Sindh in the last 15 years. Shikar, Jacobabad, Kundhkot, Larkana and other cities are even worse. In every department including police, out of 5 thousand, 2 thousand are on duty. The rest are out of the country with a visa. Someone goes to London with a visa and someone goes to Paris.
He said that policemen, teachers, doctors from almost all departments go out of the country with government employee visa. This has become the state of the province. In Karachi, the investigation officers still do something. In Karachi, Chaliawala also gives 2 crores to the police. In Shikarpur, Kandhkot, Kashmore, there is no blister. 15 years have been very destructive. Murder cases are not properly investigated in Sindh. He said that the court keeps breaking up the files against the accused, no evidence is found anywhere. We are tired of searching and searching. No evidence is produced against the accused in the court. When the accused are released, the statement comes the next day, we catch them, the court releases the accused. We are part of the same society and want to punish the accused. But what to do when there is no evidence, how to keep the accused in jail.

Justice Amjad Sohto remarked that you should just start from here and improve the investigation system.
IG Sindh said that special allowance has been fixed for investigation officers. Allowance will be combined with the salary of the investigation officers. This will no longer be the case, checks will be given from one hand and taken from the other.
Justice Amjad Sohto remarked that there is no doubt about your intention but the District Accounts Officer takes money from the investigating officers. If you do not have a system for tracking the investigating officers, the court can help you. Sindh’s fortunes will change if the investigation funds are given directly to the police station. If the identity of the accused is ensured, something can be better.
IG Sindh assured to remove the loopholes in the investigation.
The court rejected the bail request of the accused Farhad in the rape case. The court remarked that in the light of the evidence, the accused Farhad cannot be granted bail.
