Karachi: The Meteorological Department has predicted a partial heat wave in Karachi on Monday and Tuesday.
The Meteorological Department says that the temperature in the city may exceed 36 degrees during the partial heat wave on Monday.
According to Chief Meteorologist Karachi Sardar Sarfraz, the temperature of the city is likely to rise during the monsoon, with the mercury rising to 36 degrees Celsius during the partial heat wave.
They say that the intensity of heat will increase due to low air pressure in the Bay of Bengal, the sea breezes in Karachi may be affected after the low pressure approaches Rajasthan.
There is no possibility of heat wave during the partial heat wave in Karachi, due to the effects of a new system in the sea, there may be rain in Tharparkar, Umarkot and Badin in rural Sindh on September 17.
Regarding the rain in Karachi, the Meteorological Department says that there may be rain on September 20, but nothing can be said definitively in this regard because the said system is still far away.
According to the Department of Meteorology, the maximum temperature of the city on Wednesday was 32 degrees Celsius while the humidity was 69 percent. In Khairpur district of rural Sindh, the mercury was 40.6 degrees, while Dadu recorded 40 degrees Celsius.
