Mumbai: After announcing the release of Telugu superstar Allu Arjun’s film ‘Pushpaa 2’ on India’s Independence Day, the release of ‘Singham Again’ has been postponed.
Rohit Shetty’s new film in the police franchise was slated to release on Independence Day, but it has now been postponed after the announcement of ‘Pushpaa 2’ on the same day.
According to Indian media sources, Allu Arjun’s announcement of ‘Pushpaa 2’ surprised Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty and they regretted the decision.
The team of ‘Singham Again’ has decided in mutual consultation that they should not compete with Allu Arjun’s mega thriller so that the film can do its full business.
According to Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn, ‘Pushpaa 2’ needs a holiday for its business while the comedy ‘Singham Again’ can be released on any normal day.
Along with Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh will also be seen in action in ‘Singham Again’.
