All Pakistan Anjuman Traders supported the operation against hoarders, electricity and gas thieves.
Chairman Supreme Council Naeem Mir has said that the looting of Independent Power Producers (IPPs) for 2 decades should be exposed.
He said that no effort should be spared against hoarders and illegal profiteers.
Naeem Mir further said that dealing with electricity and gas thieves with iron hands should be continued.
He said that action should also be taken against banks involved in illegal buying and selling of dollars.
The Chairman Supreme Council also said that filing an FIR against mafias is not enough, a presidential ordinance should be brought.
He said that only holding elections will not solve the problem, justice should be the first priority, special courts should be formed and judgments of mafia cases should be pronounced within 90 days.
Naeem Mir said that the businessmen fully support the ongoing operation against the mafias, assets in excess of income should be confiscated by investigating the assets of the customs officials.
