Asim said that he was a very hyperactive and mischievous child as a child, often spilling cold drinks on his parents, but was still an obedient child who even took his parents’ scoldings.
Asim added that he does not like to see that nowadays parents give their children tablets or phones instead of giving them time.
He said that in childhood there was a time to play when we used to play only from 4 to 5 in the evening, but today’s children are probably deprived of it. How have you seen the Pakistani music industry develop since the 90s?
On this question, Asim replied that he likes the songs made in the 90s very much and has many beautiful memories of his childhood associated with this music.
He said, “I have always been inspired by Pakistani pop music, Fakhir Mahmood, besides Haroon, the music band Strings has been my favorite. On August 14, tabling in school on many of Haroon’s anthems is one of the best memories of my life.” .
Talking about his music career, Asim said that he started his music journey in 2012, this was the period when he used to sing covers, in this period it was very popular to sing old songs in a new style, but in 2012 At the end of 2013, he decided that if he wanted to pursue a career in music, he would have to create something of his own, thus he began writing original songs and released his first single in 2013.
Asim said that the nineties was the golden age of Pakistani music, at that time our pop music was on the rise, while in 2010 the industry was going through a difficult period and that was the time when I started. You couldn’t release your songs there, it was difficult to see the work of artists from any country other than Pakistan, but now the world has changed, now you can put your work on social media, there is no restriction.
Why are you called underrated??
Answering the question why most people consider you underrated?? . Asim said that I think that being underrated is better than being overrated, it doesn’t matter what part of life I am in now.
Talking about his newly released song ‘Chand Mahiya’, singer Asim Azhar said that he wrote the song when he shifted to his house in Karachi.
Asim was asked whether this song is the story of his own life.
To which he replied that no it is not like that but it is a story of a boy who is living his life according to his own and suddenly falls in love.
He said that those who are afraid of love are right to be afraid.
Asim said that from now on he will try to release a song for his fans every month.

The singer said that he forgets all the negative things while entering the door of the house, his fiancee Mirab also plays a big role in this, who always supports him.

The singer sang the OST of the drama ‘Ae Musht Khaq’ aired on Har Pul Jio last year which was well liked by the audience and the song managed to make it to the list of few popular OSTs.
