Karachi; A mother of 3 children who married after getting divorced was killed at the doorstep of the house

Karachi: In Sarjani Town, motorcycle-riding accused shot and killed a person at the threshold of the house. The deceased married the mother of 3 children after divorcing her first husband 6 years ago.

Farhan, a resident of Gulshan Sarjani Phase One, House No. C-R91, was injured by the motorcycle-riding accused near the house and escaped, who died on the spot after struggling for some time. The deceased’s body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

According to the spokesperson of Karachi Police, the victim was identified as 32-year-old Muhammad Farhan son of Muhammad Iqbal. The deceased’s father has claimed that his son was killed by his wife’s ex-husband and his in-laws. The deceased’s father Mohammad Iqbal and brother Mohammad Imran said that the deceased Mohammad Farhan was working in a garment factory and he was the youngest among 6 brothers and 3 sisters.

The deceased was in love with a married woman named Suraya Bano, a mother of 3 children. 6 years ago, Soraya Bano divorced her husband and married Farhan. Farhan had taken responsibility for the maintenance of the three children of the woman, later Farhan also gave birth to 3 children from Soraya.

Farhan had submitted an application in Sarjani Town police station on 27 August 2023 that on 16 August 2023 my wife Soraya Bano was dragged to her home by her husband. After going there, he and his acquaintances including Zeeshan Malik and his wife Saira, Yasir Malik and his wife Dua Kausar, my brother-in-law Waqas and Muhammad Khan and my mother-in-law Zeb Jahan sent me a recording of the threat.

In the threat, Zeeshan Malik asked to divorce Surya Bano immediately, while along with Surya’s children, they took my children with them. Since the threat, whenever I go out of the house, unknown motorcyclists come and show me weapons and threaten me to divorce Suraya Bano, if you don’t divorce and go to the police, they will kill you.

Farhan had appealed to the higher officials of the police to provide security. The father of the deceased Farhan said that after SHO Sarjani, he had also applied to SSP West against the accused accused, but the police did not do anything while the accused carried out the threat.

Between Monday and Tuesday night, Farhan was sitting outside the house when Zeeshan Malik and Yasir Malik came on the request of their wives and mother-in-law of the deceased and shot and killed them and escaped.

When the body of the deceased was brought to the hospital, Rakat Amir came to see the scene. Sarjani Town Police recorded the statements of the brothers of the deceased Farhan and handed over the body to the heirs. After the funeral and after taking care of the condition of the deceased’s father, the police will register a case against the named accused.
