American singer-songwriter Charlie Robison has died at the age of 59 due to a heart attack.
Charlie Robison was a famous singer from the US state of Texas who gained fame with his song ‘I Want You Bad’.
Charlie Robison died at a San Antonio hospital after suffering a massive heart attack and other life-threatening complications, according to sources in the singer’s family.
Robison was born in 1964 in Houston, Texas.
He started his music career in the late 1980s, in 1996 he released his first album ‘Bandira’ which received widespread acclaim.
Robison released six more albums, including Step Right Up (2001), which featured the hit song I Want You Bad.
He also served as a judge on the reality TV show Nashville Star.
In 2018, Robison lost the ability to sing.
He had formally announced his retirement from singing due to complications from throat surgery.
