Karachi: In Sindh Malaria began to become an epidemic situation, the government decided to distribute mosquito nets and malaria medicine in various districts.
According to Express News, the intensity of malaria is increasing in different areas including Larkana, Ratu Dero, Thatta, Sajawal, Qamber Shahdadkot, Tehsil Naseerabad in Sindh.
In view of the malaria situation, the Department of Health is also conducting an anti-malaria campaign with the support of the World Health Organization, a spraying campaign is underway in Rato Daro district of Larkana district and malaria drugs are also being distributed in five union councils here.
According to the Ministry of Health sources, Qamber district is highly sensitive to malaria, so it has been decided to distribute medicated mosquito nets here.
Similarly, the distribution of 100,000 mosquito nets will start soon in Tehsil Naseerabad of Qamber. Sources say that 10,000 houses in certain areas of Rato Dero will also be sprayed with mosquito killer.
