Karachi: The SIU police arrested the operative of the dacoit gang who looted cash and original files of vehicles from a member of the car dealer association.
The Special Investigation arrested Hassan, the member of dacoit gang, and recovered the stolen cash, original files of vehicles, 4 mobile phones, laptop and weapons from his possession.
According to SSPSI Yujnaed Shaikh, the arrested accused along with his accomplices snatched Rs 7 lakh and original files of various vehicles at gunpoint from a person named Hussain Afridi who was leaving the bank near Civic Center with money.
A case of the incident was registered in the Newtown police station, while the video of the incident went viral on social media. The investigation of the case was transferred to the SIU on the request of the Cordilleras Association for the arrest of the accused and the recovery of the looted goods.
