Sui Northern stepped up operations against gas thieves in the federal capital

Islamabad: Sui Northern intensified raids along with local police in the federal capital and adjacent areas, tightening the perimeter against gas thieves.

According to spokesperson Sui Northern, legal action has been initiated against citizens involved in gas theft and illegal commercial use by cutting off 14 more gas connections from Sector I-14 and E-18 of Islamabad.

In-charge Islamabad Region Azhar Rasheed Sheikh encouraged the raiding teams and officers on surveillance to continue the operation till the last illegal connection is cut in the region.

According to spokesperson Sui Nadran, UFG teams have been able to reduce line losses during operations in urban and rural areas.

The spokesman said that the public should contact the call center 1199 or the nearest office of SNGPL to identify the persons involved in the gas theft incidents. The names of the citizens reporting the gas theft will be kept confidential. .
