The international theater festival “Pakistan Theater Festival” organized by the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi is going on smoothly.
Two plays were presented on the second day of the festival, the first of which was Fai Al Badiha Theater “No Preparation” at Studio I, directed by Muneebur Rahman.
The highlight of Fei Al Badiha Theater was the absence of a pre-determined script in the play, which was performed by the students of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi’s Theater Academy, which made the audience laugh. A large number of theater goers were entertained by the play “No Preparation”.
Students of Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi’s Theater Academy presented skits on the topics given by the audience.
The second play, “Through the Waves,” was presented by the American theater group Uplift, directed by physical theater expert Hannah Gaff.
The story of three women was presented beautifully with only music and acting without dialogues, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
American theater group members said that it was a great experience to perform in front of a Pakistani theater audience.
