According to flour dealers, flour mill owners have increased the prices, after an increase of Rs.20, the retail price of a bag of 10 kg flour is Rs.1,420 and after an increase of Rs.40, the retail price of a bag of 20 kg flour is Rs.2,840.
Milled flour has also been made expensive by Rs 10 per kg, the price of milled flour has been increased from Rs 170 to Rs 180 per kg.
Sugar is still being sold at 180 to 190 rupees per kg in the markets of Lahore, while the official price of sugar is 98 rupees 25 paise.
