Karachi: The Special Provincial Anti-Corruption Court has sentenced 6 criminals including 5 former administrators of the society to 5, 5 years in prison and a fine of 80, 80 thousand rupees in the case of corruption of crores of rupees and abuse of power in Quetta Town Society.

The Special Provincial Anti-Corruption Court has given its verdict in the case of corruption of crores of rupees and misuse of powers in Quetta Town Society.

The court found that among the criminals involved in the case of corruption of crores of rupees and misuse of powers on the Quetta Town Cooperative Society Super Highway are former administrators Muhammad Afzal, Hanif Atiro, Altaf Memon, Akhtar Pathan, Muhammad Azam, Umeer, Usman and others. .

The court has sentenced 6 accused, including 5 former administrators, to 5, 5 years in prison and a fine of 80, 80 thousand rupees. The accused were on bail, after the court verdict, the investigating officer arrested the criminals and sent them to jail.

The court acquitted two accused Shehzad and Zafarullah due to lack of evidence. Investigating officer Muhammad Shoaib Soomro told the court that the accused illegally sold welfare plots of the society by abusing the authority in the Quetta Town Society Super Highway.
