Former Indian actress Poonam Dhillon opened her mouth on allegations of nepotism on her daughter’s film debut.
According to Indian media reports, Poonam Dhillon’s daughter Paloma is making her debut with Sunny Deol’s son Rajveer in the film ‘Doon’, which will release on October 5.
The film is directed by Sooraj Barjatia’s son Avneesh, Poonam Dhillon’s daughter was accused of nepotism as their release neared.
In such a situation, Poonam Dhillon gave her stand on these allegations and said that I have never worked with Rajshree Films but I respect them.
He further said that when you are a star, many things are within your reach in film industry, I have seen Soorajji’s films, I am not much related to Alik Silik personally.
Poonam Dhillon also said that there was no question of calling Soorajji and asking Paloma for her daughter’s debut.
The actress added that Paloma auditioned several times for both the films, she had to go through all the processes that a new actor goes through.
Poonam Dhillon also said that the daughter was not even sure about the selection for 6 to 8 months after the audition, it is sad to read the nepotism comments online.
He said that Paloma got the role of the film on merit, it is not possible for the producer to invest 30 to 50 crores on someone who is not capable.
Poonam Dhillon said that this is the reason why what the negative minded people are saying is not true.
