Peshawar: The Caretaker Cabinet of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has approved to increase the minimum wage of labor in the province from 25 thousand to 32 thousand rupees.
The tenth meeting of the caretaker provincial cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Azam Khan, in which ministers, advisors and special assistants including chief secretary and other high officials participated.
In the meeting, the ten-point agenda of the department of labor, health, relief, awqaf, welfare, local government, agriculture was discussed.
The caretaker cabinet approved to increase the minimum wage of labor in the province from 25000 to 32000.
Also, the Provincial Cabinet approved the proposals of Workers’ Children Education Board to continue grant-in-aid, health card plus for schools on permanent and sustainable basis.
The Provincial Caretaker Cabinet approved the transfer of 3 kanals of land owned by the Health Department in Dir Lower to the Emergency Rescue Services Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and approved a supplementary grant for the ongoing AIP project for business loss recovery in North Waziristan district.
The cabinet also gave in-principle approval to the doctors of the population welfare department to give health professional allowance on the pattern of doctors of the health department and some amendments in the Local Government Act 2023.
In the meeting, food security support project for agricultural development was approved in principle.
