California: Metta’s sub-application is a follow-up to the instant video messaging feature introduced by WhatsApp on iOS and Android a few weeks ago. Introduced an update to the beta version.
According to a report by WhatsApp Beta Info, WhatsApp has rolled out the latest updates related to instant video messaging in beta Android version 2.23.16.9 and iPhone version 23.15.1.76.
After the latest update, users will have the option to turn instant video message on or off. Previously the feature could not be disabled due to default settings.
The toggle to turn instant video message on or off is currently available to some users who have installed the latest version of WhatsApp beta on Android and iOS, and the feature will be rolled out to other users in the coming days.
It should be noted that WhatsApp has also announced multi-account feature and new interface design for the beta version.
