2 persons including the student were injured
Karachi: In North Nazimabad, a seminary teacher was killed and 2 people, including a student, were injured in firing by unknown suspects.
According to the details, 3 people were injured in the firing incident near N Crystal Wedding Hall in North Nazimabad Block and they were immediately taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital where the injured were identified as 42-year-old Maulana Hafiz Khurram Shahzad, 20-year-old Madani and 40-year-old Naveed. Maulana Hafiz Khurram Shehzad, who was seriously injured, was shot near the head and armpit and was shifted to Jinnah Hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.
In this regard, SHO Taimuria Faisal Rafiq said that Naveed and Madani, who were injured, told the police in their initial statement that they had come from Kharadar to attend a wedding ceremony and were returning when they were shot by unknown suspects. The police say that the incident is not a robbery, but the police are getting more information in this regard.
