A new plan for relief in electricity bills has been sent to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) by the Ministry of Finance.
Sources said that the additional amount allocated to IPPs may be adjusted to provide relief in electricity bills.
According to the sources, this amount of more than 15 billion will be allocated back to the IPPs after receiving the installments from the bill.
Sources in the Ministry of Finance have said that the officials of the Ministry of Finance will discuss the new plan with the IMF again.
Finance Ministry sources also say that in the new plan, the IMF has been assured not to give relief outside the budget.
