Rawalpindi: In Rawalpindi, a group threatening traders and demanding extortion through slips was discovered, the police arrested two suspects and recovered weapons.

According to the details, Mohammad Arshad, the owner of fast food at Thana Airport, while registering a case, said that a boy named Umar came to his fast food shop in Shah Khalid Colony with an unknown Pathan and gave a slip saying that the number written on it belongs to the group. When the slip was opened, the words ‘Advance Manthali 4 Lakh and Monthly Manthali Rs 2 Lakh or else Death’ were written on it and a pistol bullet was drawn with a pencil, while Nimatullah’s name and his phone number were written below.

According to Muhammad Arshad, when he called the phone number, the speaker said, “Niyamatullah, I am speaking. According to the slip given by Umar, the advance monthly payment is four lakhs and the monthly monthly payment is two lakhs. Otherwise, I will not leave you and your children alive.” will

The owner of the fast food said that there is a whole group of Nimatullah who has already fired and harmed many people and the peaceful and decent people are very scared and disturbed by their brutality.

Muhammad Arshad said that Nimatullah, Umar, Adib and Haroon Gul and six unknown persons have robbed many people and are constantly harassing people for extortion. .

The police registered a case on the request of the owner of the fast food center, Muhammad Arshad, and while searching for the accused, Muhammad Arshad informed the police that members of the extortion mafia were coming to collect extortion, on which the police team arrested the accused. When they raided, they started firing on seeing the police.

Fortunately, the police team was safe from the firing of the accused and two accused Nimatullah Khan and Haroon Gul were arrested while they were escaping, while six accused including Umar, Adeeb managed to escape, weapons were also recovered from the two arrested accused.

Police officials said that the accused have been booked in several cases like attempted murder and possession of illegal weapons.

CPO Rawalpindi Khalid Hamdani said that torture or exploitation of citizens will not be tolerated, those who exploit citizens at the point of arms will be dealt with with iron hands. He said that raids are being conducted to arrest other accomplices of the accused.
