Local dealers also say that gram in Chaman is being sold at Rs 520 per kg while gram dal is being sold at Rs 500 per kg.
Meanwhile, the price of sugar per kg in Quetta, the capital of Balochistan, has increased by Rs 15, after which its price per kg increased from Rs 205 to a record level of Rs 220.
In the suburbs of Quetta city, sugar is also being sold at Rs 230 per kg.
During the last 4 days, the price of sugar per kg in Quetta has increased by 40 rupees.
Sugar is being sold at Rs 175 per kg in the open market of Lahore, the capital of Punjab.
According to market sources, sugar has disappeared in small shops and markets across Lahore.
According to the sources of Punjab Food Department, the owners of sugar mills have taken a restraining order, there is a ban on checking sugar prices and stocks.
On the other hand, the price of sugar has increased by 35 rupees in Sargodha city of Punjab during 3 days.
According to market sources, after an increase of Rs 35 in Sargodha, the price of sugar has increased from Rs 150 per kg to Rs 185 per kg.
In the wholesale market of Karachi, the largest city of the country and the capital of Sindh province, the price of sugar per kg increased by Rs. 4 to Rs. 175.
