Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a directive to call federal officers posted in the provinces for more than three years.
The Election Commission has issued a letter to the Secretary, Establishment Division, deciding on a massive reshuffle in the bureaucracy.
In the letter, the Establishment Division has been directed to provide the list of Secretariat Group and OMG, X Cadre officers of grades 17 to 22 posted in the provinces for more than three years.
The Election Commission also directed to hand over the services of all grade 17 to 22 officers to the federal government, except for the police and the Pakistan Administrative Service.
It should be noted that the preparations of the Election Commission regarding the general elections are ongoing, in this regard, the Chief of ECP has also consulted with the political parties.
