Rawalpindi: The Punjab Bar Council declared the increase in the prices of electricity, petrol, diesel and sugar as unacceptable and announced a judicial boycott across the province.
In a statement on behalf of the Punjab Bar Council, it was said that due to the extraordinary increase in the prices of electricity and petrol, inflation has broken the back of the middle class.
In protest, the Bar Council announced a province-wide judicial boycott on September 2, demanding that the hike in electricity, petrol and diesel prices be rolled back.
