Karachi: Italy’s naval warship Francesco Musorani, equipped with modern war equipment, arrived at the port of Karachi on a goodwill visit.
Italy’s warship Francesco Musorani has arrived in Karachi on a 3-day courtesy visit, 137 crew members are on board while the ship is equipped with sensors, guns and modern equipment.
There is also a state-of-the-art helicopter on board the Francesco Musorani, which is capable of 7-hour continuous operation in deep seas. Francesco Musorani’s commanding officer, Giovanni Monone, held a press conference with the Consul of Italy, Danilo Gioradnella.
The commanding officer said that the ship arrived in Karachi on a friendly visit, Pakistan Navy gave a warm welcome, the Francesco Musorani ship is equipped with modern war equipment.
He said that there are commercial relations with Pakistan including naval cooperation, and he wishes that the relations with Pakistan will be strengthened.
He said that during the naval exercises with Pakistan, the war experiences were exchanged, many products of Pakistan including rice, textiles and mangoes are very popular in Italy.
