California: WhatsApp, the subsidiary messaging application of technology company Meta, is constantly working to improve the privacy of its users.
WhatsApp Beta Info Reports According to the application’s new privacy relay feature revolves around forwarding calls to WhatsApp’s servers. By doing this, users’ IP address and their location will be protected.
However, this method will slightly degrade call quality due to encryption.
The purpose of introducing this feature by the company is to provide secure calls and prevent users’ current location from being exposed through call data.

The company’s doing so poses problems for maintaining a balance between call quality and privacy.
The Privacy Relay feature is currently in testing and is available to a few beta users. The company will soon expand the scope of testing and after that the stable feature will be released to users.
It should be noted that Allah is working on the feature of replying to statuses using the WhatsApp avatar, sending photos and videos in original quality and improving the calling interface.
