Karachi: The Sindh High Court accepted the petitions against the offloading of actress Mansha Pasha and her husband Gibran Nasir, an advocate.
A 2-member bench headed by Justice Nimatullah Phalphoto gave its verdict on the petitions against the offloading of Mansha Pasha and her husband Gibran Nasir. The court accepted the applications of Gibran Nasir and his wife Mansha Pasha.
Gibran Nasir and Mansha Pasha approached the Sindh High Court to remove their names from the stop list. It was stated in the petitions that he was going to spend Eid holidays with his family on 27 June 2023. When they reached the immigration desk, they were sent back with an exit stamp. The officer on duty said that the instruction is not to let you go. Equipment was also offloaded.
The petition further stated that Jibran Nasir was abducted by 10 to 15 unknown persons on June 1. A case of kidnapping has been registered at Clifton police station which has been upgraded to A class. Stopping people from leaving the country should be declared illegal and an inquiry should be ordered against the FIA officials.
