Elon Musk's announcement to fulfill the long-standing desire of Twitter users

Elon Musk has announced that the social media platform X (Twitter) will soon introduce audio and video calling features for users.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk made this announcement on social media platform X. Elon Musk said in a post on X that the audio and video calling feature will be available to users soon.

He added that this feature will work on Android, iOS, Mac and Windows computers, no phone number will be required to make audio and video calls.

According to Elon Musk, X is a global address book and therefore calls do not require a phone number.

Why did Elon Musk lose billions of dollars?

However, Elon Musk did not say anything about how long users can use this feature, while nothing was said about whether this feature will be available only for Blue subscribers or for all users.

Remember, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard about audio and video calling on Twitter/X, as the company’s designer Andrew shared a screenshot of the new feature earlier in July.

These new changes are part of Elon Musk’s efforts to make X a super app, Elon Musk has been saying for a long time that he wants to make X an app where every kind of service is available to the user.
